In Lilliput, Gulliver found himself to be twelve times the size of ordinary Lilliputians. To achieve that ratio, we chose to show only parts of the giant Gulliver. We were thrilled when the legs finally walked across the stage!Below are the ten Brobdingnagg puppet heads that took weeks to make. Each head was sculpted using paper and cardboard, then laminated with layers of newspaper, paper towels and gesso. They were mounted on bamboo poles which were cut to fit the actors and the characters they were portraying.
Our cast party was at Stonehedge on Friday night. A good time was had by all!
